With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernadine Haney of Chireno, Texas, born in Nacogdoches, Texas, who passed away on September 25, 2020 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Emory Pleasant and Minnie Euna Pleasant; her former husband Brown Mettauer of Chireno; and her sons, Charles David Mettauer and Daniel Stephen Mettauer.
She is survived by: her brother Colonel Bernice Everett Pleasant; her spouse Charlie Haney; her son Joe Bill Mettauer (Connie) of Center; her grandsons, Dr. Mark Menefee Mettauer (Marissa) of The Woodlands and Matthew Dance Mettauer (Traci) of Center, Texas.; and her great grandchildren, Marxli, McCade, Mabrey and Garrett Mettauer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
