With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Carlton Goodwin formerly of China, Texas, who passed away on July 4, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Goodwin and Norma Kristensen Goodwin; his siblings, Bill Goodwin (Billie) and Sandra Baker (Duane); his former wife Elizabeth Conner; his sons, Tom Goodwin and Joe Goodwin; his wife Helen McDonald; his grandchildren, DeLette Struhs, David Spain, Adrean McDonald (Krista), Taylor McDonald and Jordan McDonald (Callie); his great grandchildren, Madison Struhs (Ashley), Parker Struhs, Lucas McDonald and Everett McDonald; his great great grandchild Emma Struhs; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Laningham. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
