He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virginia McClelland Marshall and Earl Albert Marshall, Sr.; his wife Phyllis Marshall of China; his children, Steven Earl Marshall of California, Sheila Renee Rizzato of Vidor and Pamela Ann Garland (Lynn) of Tucson, Arizona; his sister Mary Louise Smith of Beaumont; his former wife Ann LeBlanc Marshall; and his sister Nancy Marsh. He was also cherished by four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
