It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Smith of China, Texas, born in Vernon, Alabama, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick "Fred" Allen Smith, Sr.; her son Frederick "Ricky" Allen Smith Jr.; her mother Eddie Mae; her brother Lawrence Ray Hoadley; and her grandson Keith Spivey.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Faye Allen (Monte) of Bridge City and Denise Klages (Kirk) of China, Texas; her grandchildren, Jeremy Klages (Dana) of China, Texas, Tiffany Spivey of Nederland, Texas, BreAnn Klages of Rogers, Arkansas, Dylan Klages (Taylor) of China, Texas and Alisha Tamez (Hector) of Bridge City, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Spivey, Alyssa Klages, Caleb Spivey, Zeke Tamez and Parker Klages. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other close family members; former husband of several years and loving companion.
