With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Connie Marie Lange Beard of China, Texas, who passed away on January 3, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Barnett and Frank Schermerhorn; her former husband Frederick Lange; and her husband Roy Beard. She is survived by: her sons, Russell Lange (Terri) of Missouri City and Randall Lange (Joyce) of Silsbee; her siblings, Dottie McKinley (Bill), Jerry Yancey (Nancy) of China and Woody Yancey (Diana) of China; her grandchildren, Kendra Lange, Ryan Lange, Andrew Lange, Haylie Guidry (Alex) and Marissa Lange; and her great grandchildren, Kayla, Luke, Jocelynn and Cooper. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Julie Rogers Gift of Life Program, 2390 Dowlen Road, Beaumont, Texas 77706.

“It is with a heavy heart I leave this message. I've called Connie several times and couldn't get her., Today 2/18, I was going to call the Constable in China to go and check on her when I found out why. Connie and I grew up together, lived close by, and even went to the same school for a while. Connie's mother, my Aunt Ruth, was my mother's sister. She was a very special person, just like Connie. I' will miss Connie very much.”
