He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sidna O'Pry and Percy Manuel; his wife Margaret Manuel; his daughters, Patti Morgan (Chris) of China and Colleen Sanders (Darrell) of China; his granddaughters, Jayne Dennis (Chris) of Sour Lake, JoAnna Truncali (Jake) of China and Casey Sanders of La Porte; his great grandchildren, Tristan, Brody, Noah, Ezra, Benjamin, Harper, Landon and Fox; his sisters, Rebecca Fontenot and Laskie Rougeau; and his granddaughter Caitlin Sanders Hickman. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
