He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Herbert and Louise Herbert; and his brother Robert Herbert. He is survived by: his wife Peggy O'Neal; his children, Debbie (Kyle) and Mike (Donna); his grandchildren, Taylor Burroughs (Sandi), Paige Pabor (Ryan) and Hunter Herbert; his great grandchildren, Darcy Burroughs and Rowyn Pabor; and his siblings, John Herbert (Toni), David Herbert (Rita) and Pamela Smallwood.
Steve was a master craftsman in wood working and made countless pieces of furniture and other special projects, many times as a donation to a worthy cause.
