He was predeceased by: his parents, Florenco Salas and Simona Salas (Barrientos); and his siblings, Sophia Salas and Pancho Salas. He is survived by: his wife Maria Rodriquez; his children, Jaime Salas (Kasandra Estroga), Daniel Salas (Johana Salas-Flores), Ezequiel Salas, Leonel Salas, Ricardo Salas, Angel Salas, Imanol Salas and Jennifer Salas; his grandchildren, Mireya, Kalani and Nathaniel Salas; and his siblings, Clemente Salas, Nicandro Salas, Saulo Salas, Moises Salas, Veronica Gonzales, Victorina Saucedo and Maria Ortega. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
