Mary Hopkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2020, at the age of 100, Mary Hopkins of Chillicothe, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Major and Edith Hayhurst Major; her husband James H. Hopkins; her siblings, Frankie Stanford, Virginia Hill and Billy Leland Hopkins; and her son Leland Hopkins.
She is survived by: her sister Joan Clawson of Quanah; her son Ray Hopkins (Susan) of Chillicothe; her daughter-in-law Cynie Hopkins of Chillicothe; her daughters, Diane Finley (Terry) of Lancaster, TX and Linda McElrath of Austin, TX.; her grandchildren, D'Aun Pakulak (Mark), Leah Bradley, Christy Tabor (Horace Joe Tabor), Alissa Hopkins, David Hopkins (Wendy), Mark McElrath, John Finley (Ron Baker) and Andrew Finley; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Pakulak, Alex Pakulak, Hannah Tannery, Ryan Horn, Chance Bradley, Emily Bradley, Nicholas Bradley, Gabriel McElrath, Aubrey McElrath, Cate Tabor and Holden Tabor. She is also survived by four children, and caring for grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Due to COVID 19 a private family graveside service will be held at the Chillicothe Memorial Cemetery on Monday, December 14.
