He was predeceased by: his father Gene Jouett; and his nephew Danny Jouett, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Joye Davis Jouett of Childress; his children, Tina Tullos (Jodie) of Waco, Cari Callan (Kevin) of Lone Grove, Okla. and Eric Jouett of Childress; his grandchildren, Laycee Tullos of Waco, Brison Tullos of Waco, Clessie Burton (Brenden) of Kingsville, Carson Callan of Lone Grove and Tyler Wiginton of Ingleside, Texas; his great grandchild Stratton Tullos of Waco; his siblings, Danny Jouett (Linda) of Amarillo, Debbie Pierce (Rickey) of Childress, Marsha Meacham (Gary) of Childress, Dinah DeArmond (Mark) of Childress and Leah Helm (John Paul) of Childress; his siblings-in-law, Edwin Sides (Kim) of Childress and Sherry Haddon of Lubbock; and also Cathy Jouett of Childress. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

The family suggests memorials be made to Childress Meals on Wheels.
