He was predeceased by: his parents, Caylor Hoobler and Polly Williams Hoobler; and his granddaughters, Lila Katherine and Kylie Allison. He is survived by: his wife Lila Holman; his friend Jim Dowis; his cousins, David Douglas, Harvey Dobbs and Talmadge Porter; his daughters, Katherine Monroe (Troy) of Hedley and Cayla Hoobler of Anson; his brother Max Hoobler of Rockport; and his grandchildren, Paul, William, Caylor, Collin, Devon Monroe, Jaycee, Patrick and Suzanne Overton. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church in Childress, Paducah, Iowa Park, Clarendon, or Anson or The 100 Club of the Texas Panhandle.
