He is survived by: his wife Maria Antonia Mata; his children, Rosa Linda Puentez (Lupe), Rosalva Guerrero (Celso), Rosario Martinez, Rosie Candy Gonzalez (Mario), Rufino Jr. Mata (Flor Estela) and Ross Carlos Mata (Juanita Jeana); and his sister Basilia Espinosa. He is also survived by 48 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
