He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Louise Patterson (Garrett) of Childress; his pet LadyBird; his fiancée LuAnne Morton of Grapeland; his children, Melissa Patterson (Noel) of Childress, Trista Jondreau (William) of Amarillo, Steven Patterson (Alisha) of Houston and Leah Patterson of Fort Worth; his stepchildren, Gary Van Meter (Brandi) of Tyler, Chris Van Meter (Cydney) of Greenville and Elijah Butler; his sister LaDonna Smith of Childress; his child Lady Bird; his grandchildren, Carli, Kayden, Kashton, Joseph, Karcin, SkyLynn, Shalyn, Kandice and Atreyu; his great grandchildren, Legion and Kamrie; and also, Theresa Vassak and Shawna McKinney.
