He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Longbine and Doris Sams Longbine; and his brother Terry Longbine. He is survived by: his children, Misty Longbine of Childress, Melissa Brown (Iran) of Weatherford, Texas, Brian Longbine of Texas and Melinda Longbine of Lubbock; his siblings, Clyde Longbine (Dale) of Granbury, Wanda Smith (Steve) of Clarendon, Glen Longbine of Waxahachie, Texas and Gaynell Miller (Randy) of Wichita Falls; and his close friend Craig Collins of Estelline. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerus nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Childress Regional Medical Center Hospice or Friends of Estelline organizations.
