It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lanora Jones (Childress, Texas), who passed away on March 18, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Ray Jones; her son Johnny Max Jones; and her great grandchild Ashton Scott. She is survived by: her children, Julia Wheeler (Timothy), Nellie Jones, Alvin Jones and Justin Jones; her brother Billy Stroud; her grandchildren, Johnny Floyd Scott and Melissa Jones; her great grandchildren, Johnny Ray Scott (Breanna), Matthew Scott and Antonio Jones; her great great grandchildren, Anya Scott and Ashlyn Scott; and her friend Loretta Pruitt.
