He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewel Silas Owens and Dona Beatrice Vernon Owens. He is survived by: his wife Mattie Owens of Childress; his children, Don Owens (Delz) and Serena George (Kelley); his grandchildren, Terry George (Megan) and Tamara Hudson (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Serenity Hudson, Ryland George and Sylas Hudson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
