He was predeceased by: his parents, James Phillips and Dorothy Phillips; his stepdaughter Kelly Hulen; and his siblings, Dorothy Stadelman, Bubber and Gary Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Phillips; his daughter Julie Einhaus (Mike); his grandson Kevin (Carola); his stepdaughters, Lori Powell and Jamie Brawley; and his sisters, Brenda Barton, Alta Porter and Judy James. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
