He was predeceased by: his parents, Art White and Josephine Wilson White; his wife Edith White; his sister Wanda Rankin; his grandson Clint Hinton; and his son-in-law Jim Cariveau.

He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Lawson (Steve) and Glenda Cariveau; and his grandchildren, Renee Miller (Larry) of Channing, Chris King of San Angelo, Tony Hinton of Childress, Hailey Cariveau of Childress, Jesse Cariveau of El Paso and Jody Hinton (Tarah) of Childress. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
