He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ruth Sessums of Childress; his sons, Bud Thompson (Kandi) of Childress and Mac Thompson of Childress; his grandchildren, Taitlyn Thompson, Ashley Thompson Smith, Daphni Thompson and Brandon Thompson; and his sister Quetha Mozell Meyers of Floydada.
