She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Dowis and Clara English Dowis; and her stepfather Downing English. She is survived by: her children, James Holton (Sarah) and Beverly Sims (Tommy); and her grandchildren, Chad Holton, Lana Waits (John), Connie Miller (Jeramy), Michael Sims (Tara), Jessica White (Malcolm), Mark Waits (Megan), Aaron Miller, Bradley Miller, Mikayla Swires (Johnny) and Tate Sims. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
