He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Ray and Ethel Pearl Jones Ray; his siblings, James Norman Ray, Dorothy Hodges and W. L. Ray; and his son Jerry Foley.
He is survived by: his wife Chris Ray; his children, Denny Ray, John Ray (Ashilen), Angie Prater (Kelly) and Kevin Foley (Mandy); his daughter-in-law Tammy Foley; and his grandchildren, Brooke Ramsey, Kelsey Ramsey, Tripp Ray, Jeremy Foley (Jennifer), Tiffany Foley, Jason Foley (Dorothy), Keith Foley (Abby), Blake Foley, Beth Foley, Josh Prater (Sara) and Austin Prater. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
