He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Decker and Alma Decker (Swift); his grandson Jeff Conatser; and his siblings, Genevieve Winter and Don Decker.

He is survived by: his wife Jerry Decker (Michie) of Childress; his children, Cheryl Conatser (Jerry) of Ft. Worth and Jim Decker (Cathy) of Montgomery, TX; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hendrix (Max Hendrix), Sarah Cook (Cody) and Wade Decker; and his great grandchildren, Avery Hendrix, David Hendrix and Charlotte Cook.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Childress Regional Medical Center or to Cook Children's Hospital in Ft. Worth.
