She was predeceased by: her father Michie Jim Thaten. She is survived by: her mother LaJuana Thaten (Jones) of Childress; her son William Wells of Childress; her siblings, Mike Thaten (Linda) of Paris and Diane Galyean (Kenny) of Childress; her nieces, Michille Delgado (Rudy) of Childress, Amanda Kane (Luke) of Dodson and Mindy Coin (Jay) of Wichita Falls; and her nephew Mitchell Thaten (Sabrina) of Paris. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (307 Ave C NW, Childress, TX 79201). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Childress Cemetery.
