Becky Sims Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Becky Sims (Childress, Texas), who passed away on March 6, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Becky Sims to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Moore and Mary Estelle Moore (Waddill); her husband Ronald B. Sims; her siblings, Yvonne Perez and Jim Moore; and her grandson Cole Cofer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shanon Sims of Austin, Sarah Sims of Childress and Sharon Blackburn (Christopher) of New Braunfels; her grandchildren, Jade Pleming, Ashley Walker, Dakota Walker (Jesslyn), Jake Walker, Jackson Blackburn and Sutton Blackburn; her great grandchildren, London Dixon, Paris Dixon, Kash Dixon, Novalee Walker and Weston Walker; her siblings, Larry Moore (Janiece) and Carol Greene (Tom); and her siblings-in-law, Wanda Moore, Judy Sims, Marie Simmons, Sue Mock (Chuck), Martha Little, Sherry Gomez (Jenn Gomez) and John Sims. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (307 Ave C NW, Childress, TX 79201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Childress (300 Ave C NW, Childress, TX 79201).
Memorial donations can be made to the Childress Food Bank or to CRMC Hospice.
