He is survived by: his children, Alfred Eugene Swearingen Jr., Gary Richard Swearingen and Mary Kilgo (Mary Swearingen); his siblings, Edith Potts, Pauline Adams, Charlene Chapman, Jack Swearingen and Haskell Swearingen; his wife Joyce Swearingen of Childress; his daughters, Dewanda Votaw (James Thomas) of Childress and Sharon Daniels of Vacaville; and his sister Clara Flatt of Antlers. He is also survived by children as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
