With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Partin (Chico, Texas), born in Quinlan, Texas, who passed away on November 12, 2018 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Anthony and Fannie Adelia Abernathy (Stockton); her husband Fred L. Partin; her siblings, Vernon Abernathy, Clyde Abernathy, Ruth Butler and Mary Vance; and her son-in-law Richard Gilbert.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Tim Partin, Kelly Gilbert, Kevin Partin, Justin Partin and Will Partin; her great grandchild Tyler Wier; her daughter John Partin (Nelda) of Van Alstyne, Texas; and her grandchild Gerry Gilbert of Llano. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Morris Memorial United Methodist Church, PO Box 504, Chico, Texas 76431, or a charity of your choice.
