She was predeceased by: her parents, Murriell Thomas and Opal Evon Manning (Motley); her husband Elton Kenneth Smith; and her siblings, Nelda Adams, Verba Manning, Maurice Manning and Jess Melton.
She is survived by: her children, Jocelyn Rawlings (Mike) of Boyd, Texas, Jamey Smith (Robbie) of Cottondale and Joey Smith of Chico; her grandchildren, Jonna Rawlings, Scott Rawlings, Jason Smith, Jada Ayala and Charles Smith; her great grandchildren, Taylor Rawlings, Wiley, Elton and Ralph Ayala; her great great grandchild Easton Rawlings; and her siblings-in-law, Darwin Smith and Frances Garrison. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
