She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Baxter and Avis Baxter (Sumerall); her husband Roy Douglas Slonaker; and her siblings, Louise Perry, Samuel and Wesley Baxter.

She is survived by: her children, Freddie Triplett of Bridgeport, Rhonda Lowry (Rob) of Chico, Lee Slonaker (Michelle) of Chico, Daniel Baxter (Vicki) of Garland and Chris Baxter (Julie) of Garland. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other friends.
