He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Phillips and Alieth Phillips (Lightfoot); his son Kenneth Phillips; his granddaughter Lauren Phillips; and his brothers, David and Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Phillips of Chico; his daughters, Debra Curry (Randy) of Chico and Amanda Pultz (Jerry); his granddaughters, Kelcie, Jacqulyn, Brooklyn and Halie; his great grandchildren, Seth, Colton, Prince and Phoenix; and his brother Jimmy Phillips of Garland.
