He is survived by: his wife Wilda Cox; his son Robert Cox (Paula Diane); his stepsons, Roger Beasley, Jimmy Johnston, Tommy Johnston and Curtis Beasley; his grandchildren, Amber Cox, Ashlie Aguilar, Travis Cox, Bonnie Kemnitz, Bradley Beasley, Joel Johnston and Victoria Johnston; his great grandchildren, DJ, Susanna and Gabriela; and his niece Connie Cox Leaf. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
