He is survived by: his wife Renae Deaton of Chico; his children, Shae Deaton of Hurst and Vance Deaton (Tanya) of Bedford; his siblings, Mike Deaton of Lake Bridgeport, Lizzie Salter of Bowie and Erlene Carson of Irving; his grandsons, Noah Sparks of Alvarado and Ethan Sparks of Bedford; his brother Monty; his sister-in-law JoAnn Walker of Wichita Falls; and his friends, David Brodnax, Tom Boltz, Floyd Harper, David Warner, Larry Bright, Harvey, Betty Weatherly, Butch and Paula Young. He is also survived by his family and friends and was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, son-in-law, and friend.
