He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Matthew and Opal Richey (Warden); his siblings, June Cox, Judy Richey and Buddy Richey; and his godson Clint Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Richey of Chico; his children, Pam Reed (Glenn) of Chico, Paula Remily (Steve) of Chico, Doug Richey of Chico and Donnie Richey of Chico; and his sisters, Janet Myers (Bill) of Leander and Anna Hand (Jimmy) of Chico. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of friends.
