He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Long and Billie Long (Caraway); his wife Elizabeth Long (Deering) of Chico; his children, Blake Long II of Grand Junction, Jeremiah Long of Chico, Patricia Stradley (Bryan) of Cashion, Andrew Long (Adriana) of Grand Junction, Eric Long of Chico and Sarah McKamie (Patrick) of Chico; his grandchildren, Melody, Elexis, Jordan, Jared, Aidan, Seth, Trinity and Andrew; his brother Marty Long; and his daughter Jennifer Long.
