It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Smedley of Chico, Texas, who passed away on May 26, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Lovey Bishop (Jarrell); her husband R. L. Smedley; her son Tracy Smedley; and her brother Jarrell Bishop.
She is survived by: her daughter Stacey Taylor (Ricky) of Chico; her grandchildren, Rhett, Randi and Raider; and her siblings, Lovie Nichols of Cross Plains, Dorothy Ivey of Rising Star, Ginger Botts of Hawley, Gene Bishop of Abilene and Curtis Bishop of Eagle Pass.
