He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Celestine and Flenchie Celestine; and his siblings, Gus Celestine, Jr., Milton Celestine, Florence Robinson and Clarine Breaux.
He is survived by: his brother Burl McBride, III; his wife Barbara Celestine of Chester; his children, David Celestine of Broaddus, Neal Leach of Liberty, Lisa Rojas (Johnny) of Spring and Monica Grimes (Troy) of Huntington; his brother Charles Celestine (Hazel) of Kountze; his grandchildren, Tyler Celestine, Tucker Celestine, Angeline Ponder, Cara Wheeler, Jessica Rash, Katie Rash, Montana Grimes, Zowie Murray and Briar Grimes; and his great grandchildren, Celeste, Charlotte, Jackson, Harper, Luke, Henley, Braylen and Elijah.
