He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis "Shorty" Austin and Gwendolyn Poindexter Barnes; his brother Aubrey Kay Barnes; and his nephew Brad Austin Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Barnes of Chester; his children, Travis Aubry Barnes (Carmen) of Corrigan, Jeremiah Kay Barnes (Erin) of Livingston and Tara Burman (Kevin) of Livingston; his grandchildren, Kenneth Blake Burman, Travis Kade Burman, Victoria Brooks, Travis Dane Barnes, Aubrey Lynn Barnes, Addison Grace Barnes, Landry Kent Barnes, Brody Allen Barnes, Morgan Rayborn and Molly Rayborn; and his great grandchildren, Kora Burman and Kye Burman.
