She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredda Bryant Mahaffey and James Mahaffey; her sister Bobbie Ruth Priest; and her nephew Scott Mahaffey. She is survived by: her grandsons, Kasey Jobe, Will Mahaffey, Seth Mahaffey, Drew Mahaffey, Justin Smith and Cole Dube; her husband Everett Powell of Chester; her daughters, Kelly Jobe (Ken) of Chester and Kara Migl (Brian) of Lake Jackson; her siblings, James David Mahaffey (Linda) of Crockett and Brenda Conner (Nolan) of Chester; her sister-in-law Ernestine Dollins of Chester; and her grandchildren, Kyrstin Smith (Justin), Rebecca Migl (Cole Dube) and Haley Migl.
