It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Marie Thompson of Chester, Texas, born in Camden, Texas, who passed away on September 27, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Riley and Johnnie Marie Riley; her son Eric Jason Hubbard; her grandson Marshall Hubbard; and her brothers, Johnny Riley and Curtis Riley.
She is survived by: her husband Willie C. Thompson; her children, Hal Hubbard, Jr. (Janie) of Corrigan and Julie Hubbard of Corrigan; her grandchildren, Matthew Hubbard (Lauren) of Corrigan, Jessica Osborne (Tyler) of Rockhill, SC and Jacy Scarborough (Lawrence) of Diboll; her great grandchildren, Hadilyn, Hartleigh Hubbard of Corrigan, Ellie, Emerie, River, Endy Osborne of Rock Hill, SC, Jacen and Layten Scarborough of Diboll; her brother Bobby Riley of Etoile; her mother-in-law Gladys Thompson of Chester; her siblings-in-law, Louie Thompson, Sr. of Chester, Larry and Sandra Thompson of Chester; and her friend Doris Thayer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
