He is survived by: his friend Yolanda Marie Potts-Powell; his wife Yolanda Potts-Powell; his sister Valerie Powell Kelly of Richmond; his children, Donte Powell of Houston and Danielle Powell of Houston; and his stepdaughters, Shemaco Potts of Houston and Alonda Potts of Houston. He is also survived by step grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
