Jill H. wrote a sympathy message

“Deepest sympathy to the family on Lovell's passing. My family's connection with him was through Hereford cattle. He was a good friend of my Dad's (Byron Bayers of Montana) at one time and our family thought a lot of him . Lovell and my Dad were on one of the trips to Hungary in the 1970s, where they helped the Hungarians develop a breeding program with Hereford cattle. It was still a communist country at that time. Our family has fond memories and a great deal of respect for Lovell.”
