She was predeceased by: her parents, O. D. Clopton and Mable Dean (Hurst); her husband Roy McCown; her son LeRoy McCown; and her siblings, Paul Clopton, Melody Stewart and Lita Clopton.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy McCown, Roy McCown, Jr. (Carol) of Eastland, Texas and Judy Carlisle (Jason) of Brownwood, Texas; and her brother Kelly Clopton (Joyce) of Elgin, Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
