With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Ray Parisher of Cherokee, Texas, who passed away on October 12, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Jesse Lee Cavness; his wife Dorothy Eckhardt; his father Dan Erving; and his siblings, Ada Faye, Billy Dan and Charlene.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Michelle Parisher; his children, Karen Lynn Heinz of Houston and Danny Ray Parisher of Cherokee; his grandchildren, Matthew Parisher, Samuel Parisher, Robin Parisher, Natalie Castro and Daniel Castro; his great grandchildren, Matthew Cole, Jr., Pearl, Samantha, Mason and Maverick; and his brother Lloyd Parisher of Onalaska. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, friends and extended family.
An honor to a man that was a pillar of his community and a strong foundation for his family.
