He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Dickison and Iva Means Dickison; his wife Gladys Jane Felts; his son Joel David Dickison; his son-in-law Jay Laminack; and his siblings, J. W., Forrest, Eloise, Marie and Henry.
He is survived by: his sibling Lovell Wright; and his children, James R. Dickison (Elizabeth) and Shele Laminack. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
