It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hartlage Jr. of Charlotte, Texas, who passed away on August 17, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. "Will" Hartlage and Ivy Mae Hartlage; his siblings, Vera Carhart, Lenora Holmes, Eva Sims, Janet, Richter and Edwin Hartlage; and his nephew Wyatt Holmes.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Robin McQueen (Gary McQueen) of Cedar Creek, Carson Hartlage (Cindy) of Beasley and Michael Hartlage of El Paso; his stepson Rex Becker (Diane) of Richmond; his nephew Tommy Holmes (Debbie) of Beasley; his grandchildren, Matthew, Joel, Natalie McKee, Abby Kettler, Katie Sabrsula, Will Hartlage, Christina McCormick, Andrea Wilkerson, Jacob and Rachael Becker; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa Iturria of Grapevine, Cathey Holmes of Rosenberg, David Holmes of Austin and John Carhart. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
William Hartlage Jr., a straight-talking, highly respected cattleman known throughout Texas, died Monday, Aug. 17 after a valiant fight against COVID- 19.
