He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Lou Hindes West and Richard Stanley West; and his brother Richard Hindes West. He is survived by: his uncles, Bob and Roy Hindes; his son Frank Hindes West (Tara) of Austin, Texas; his wife Jan; his son Sam West (Jennifer) of Jourdanton, Texas; his grandchildren, Madison, Logan, McKinley and Jaxon; and his sister Amanda Thompson of San Antonio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
