It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose B. Chapa Jr. of Charlotte, Texas, who passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Ovaldo Chapa and Bacilia M. Badillo Chapa; his sister Charlotte; and his son Roman Eric Chapa. He is survived by: his wife Adela; his siblings, Roman Chapa, Celia Guerrero and Isaac Chapa; his children, Gene Chapa, Eloy (Shelly Chapa) and Cynthia Chapa (Adam); his daughter-in-law Casey Chapa; and his grandchildren, Michael (Tracy), Samantha (Michelle), Bryan (Brittany), Meagan (Steven), Adrian, Airicha, Annabell, Sarah, Alaine, Raelyn and Steven of Victor, AJ. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
