She was predeceased by: her parents, Acension Pesqueda and Maria Pesqueda (Robles); her husband Fabian Garza; her great grandchildren, Fabian Garza and Rico Gallegos; and her siblings, Juana Pesqueda, Manuela Castro, Maria Villalobos and Jose Pesqueda.
She is survived by: her son Jose P. Garza; her brother Acension "Chon" Pesqueda; and her grandchildren, Joe Garza, Veronica Solis, Ruben Garza, Rhonda G. Rivas, Erika Garza, Joe Gallardo and Jonathan Garza. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
