He is survived by: his wife Ruby Gonzales; his children, Gilda, Clarissa (Manuel), Gil Jr. (Melissa) and Robert (Lourdes); his grandchildren, Madeline Romo, Ilissa Romo, Iliana Romo, Gil Romo III, AnaLynn Tijerina, Jagger Tijerina and Nathan Romo; his brother Raymond Romo; and his sisters-in-law, Irene Romo, Bessie Romo, Eva Romo and Minnie Romo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
