He was predeceased by: his wife Jamie Cegielski; his siblings, Marion "Sonny" Cegielski and Lillian Cegielski Harper (Bob); his son Paul Thomas; his siblings-in-law, Golda Wortham, John Oliver and Bobbie Long; and his parents, Edmund "Eddie" Cegielski and Angeline "Nellie" Cegielski.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Cegielski (Tricia) of Weimar, Texas and Connie; his son-in-law Chris Santiff of Houston; his grandchildren, Shawn Santiff, Shannon Crawley, Shane Santiff, Shanber Gobert, Cayla Cegielski, Logan Cegielski and James Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Brittany, Chase Crawley, Vincent Santiff, Jacob Thomas, Brooklynn and Brian Jr. Gobert. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
