He is survived by: his mother Maria Ortiz; his wife Lourdes Ortiz; his children, Rodolfo Ortiz (Nereida), Ruby Ortiz and Reese Ortiz; and his brothers, Jose Ortiz (Rosa) and Hector Ortiz (Delilah). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
